International Teams

All USA sailors wishing to compete at an International 420 Worlds, Europeans or Jr. European Championship must apply, qualify and be selected by the US I420 Class Association. 

Sailors qualify by earning qualification points or by being selected as a “wild card” by the US I420 Class Association Selection Committee.

Two class championships are held annually:

World Championships 

Junior European Championship

In years when Worlds is held in the Southern Hemisphere, the class also holds a European Championship.
